Today we went paint-balling in Karen, a mostly "mzungu" (white) suburb of Nairobi. Jack's friend Hamish was a good shot and hit me a couple of real corkers - but for reasons of modesty, I can't show the bruises!
Dnes šli jsme na "paintball" na Karen, "mzungu" (bilý) sídliště Nairobi. Hamish, kamarade od Jakube, byl naše "William Tell" ale nemužu ukázat modřiny protože místo je soukromé!
Hamish's mother Georgina had us all back for lunch and in addition to eating a fantastic spread she also let me hack off a large section of one of her rosemary bushes. Just this morning I'd turned a pot-holed part of my lawn into a herb garden and the rosemary was a great start.
Potom Georgina, Máma od Hamish, dala oběd jako pět hvezdy hotelu. Take nám dala velký kus rozmarýně od její zahrad. Dnes ráno konstruovál jsem bylinková zahrádka v moje trávě a to rozmarýn byla velmý dobrý začit. (Věra četla a řekla, "Lidi budou rozumět...možna!" Myslím, že když nemužete rozumět můj český, musite se naučit anglicky!)
