Father Christmas has come
to Cechy. We opened our presents around the tree yesterday, after traditional schnitzel, potato salad and a toast. After that, we watched telly. Pretty ordinary really. Then this morning we discovered Father Christmas had come. The weather is still mild, no snow. Everyone is well, especially the cat of the house, asleep on our bed.

Not sure how traditional the schnitzel is - unless Vera means traditional to our family! One is supposed to eat carp, Christmas Eve being a day of fasting! (Mirka & Milan don't like carp, which is fine with me, as I hate all those little bones.)
