The overbearing socialist decor of the hotel, but it was very comfortable - zotavovna, vypadá socialisticky ale velice pohodlná

As you can see from the pictures, the residential trip went to the hills. The Czechs call them mountains but we were were only just over 1000 m and the highest point is 1600. I enjoyed the stay very much because everything was so green and alive. Even saw some cows out on the fields. The children were very well behaved, there was plenty of food and it only rained once, albeit on our walk (up and down, up and down). Back home now - that's also good.

Culture - Za kulturou

 V pondělí jsme šli na koncert - po dlouhé době romantický večer spolu. The venue was a concert hall just off Malá Strana. V pondělí jsme vyrazili na koncert na Malou Stranu.

Jeli jsme vlakem z Říčan, došli jsme do Hrusic a zde nás vidíte před památkníkem Josefa Lady. Pak jsme to vzali lesem do kopce a pak z kopce do Mnichovic, zpět vlakem. Svítilo sluníčko, moc jsme nebloudili a bylo nám dobře.

We took the train to the village where famous Lada lived and worked, as an excuse for a walk through the woods into the next, larger village, where we caught the train back. Lada drew all those old fashioned scenes of the Czech countryside.

Spring clean

M has been helping a friend spring clean his barn. Lots of fun. Spring is definitely here
